Thanksgiving
If you are in the US reader, I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

If you're elsewhere, I hope you have a happy and safe weekend.
I finally heard from Scheduling, and have an appointment for an Anesthesia MRI on December 22, 2023. I am praying that after I get it, Dr. Thomas will be able to figure out what to do, and/or get me on Disability. I have a follow-up appointment on January 6th to talk to him about the results.

I'm still helping my friend—and previous boss—by posting her items on Facebook Marketplace for sale. We are getting several "scammers" but not many actual sales. Sometimes I have trouble sitting long enough to get something posted. Other times my back hurts so much I can't move things around and I have to sit down. It's a no-win situation.

November is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I'm not participating in it to make the 50,000 word novel. Even though my body keeps telling me to "get out of this chair...NOW!" when I'm home, I am able to attend a few of the write-ins and do some writing. So, there is a light at the end of the tunnel—although it may be a train.

Prequel?

Although I'm having trouble sitting to work on Hot-Rod Magazine, my brain is still active. Some time ago, I got an idea to write a story called The Corpse in the Cemetery. The main character, Owen, can speak to animals and they speak to him. Kind of the Dr. Doolittle effect. I did get the premise of it written and will get back to it after finishing Hot-Rod Magazine.

Lately, I've been seeing several authors and movies are releasing Prequels.
I thought that might be fun. I'm not totally sure if you could call The Chronicles of Brad a prequel of the Shipwreck/Climb to the Top Collection Series.

I also thought it might be fun to do a prequel to the Halloween Night part of the Halloween Night/The Golden Locket Collection Series, and go back to when Shane was 14 and a Freshman in High School. You may recall that he's 25 in Halloween Night. Of course, if I do, I'll have to re-read the entire 9-book series and then get to work on it. Don't worry, I'll finish Hot-Rod Magazine before I do that.
